This book provides plenty of food for thoughts on the use and abuse of drugs and on the addiction conditions. An innovative approach helps children to understand the origins of an illness that mysteriously appears and that they think they can control through the use of drugs. Altering their feelings, in order not to experience the pain of disappointing human relationships, they seek well-being in ephemeral and sometimes deadly paradises. The targets of this work are: analyzing the cause of the illness, indicating the way to cure it and to recover the ability to face human relationships with affectivity and imagination. Inside the book there is also a themed tale by the young writer Ilaria Paluzzi and a series of color plates by the illustrator Romina Farris.
