The “Stolen Birth” is an accurate historical, philosophical and psychiatric reconstruction focused on the violent thought that has always affected women and children, arising from the idea of an originally sick human nature. The possibility of treatment based on the Theory of Birth by the Italian psychiatrist and psychotherapist Massimo Fagioli is proposed, which is mainly based on an original equality of human beings and an important research on the origin of language. Starting from the first image of birth, the first year of a child’s life is characterized by imaginative and creative thinking through images, which we then find again, by night, in our dreams.
